We’re a local, famly-owned dairy service company that relocated to Hereford, Texas, in 2019. We're growing fast and are looking to build a team of dairy equipment personnel who are eager to learn, grow, and take on the competitive market around the Texas Panhandle! Route Driver

 Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement and medical card is required for this position. 

Deliver products & supplies daily to surrounding farms & dairies as per established route. Delivery routes involve the sale of a variety of dairy supplies to established customers who consistently purchase specific items for their farm(s). Candidate will be responsible for loading the delivery truck with requested products as well as ensuring that truck/trailer is also stocked with additional products & supplies for on-farm sales. Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred but not mandatory.

Candidate will haul all loads in compliance with all DOT regulations and adhere to all safety requirements; Safely operate a company truck to provide products and service to a variety of farms/dairies; Verify daily preventative maintenance of vehicle and maintain proper operator documentation; Manage daily route independently to ensure accurate and timely delivery of product; Loads/unloads product per company policies, procedures, and guidelines; Assist with loading and unloading of trucks and trailers by hand or by use of a hand truck, forklift or pallet jack as needed; Review receipts & paperwork daily for complete and accurate information and make corrections as needed; Meet sales goals and promote overall route growth to enhance profitability; Assists customers with sales of requested products; Possess a strong understanding of services, policies, and pricing methods and can clearly communicate these to customers; Monitor customer feedback and handle customer issues in a prompt and courteous manner; Take responsibility for your personal safety and watch out for the safety of others; Use safe precautions, proper tools, and equipment, and adhere to all safe work practices and policies; Follow job safety and environmental requirements and communicate concerns to immediate supervisor; Complete various clean-ups, inventories, administrative, and other duties as assigned or as necessary; Candidate must be willing to attend internal and external training classes, and other events, and accessing other information sources as needed.

Generally, loads are delivered Monday-Friday allowing for time off on the weekends. However, candidate must be willing to work overtime (more than 8 hours in a day) as needed. Overtime rate is paid at 1.5 times the average hourly rate for every hour worked over 40 in a single week. 

Must be able to work in outside elements where temperature, weather, odors, and/or landscape may be unpleasant and/or potentially hazardous for deliveries. Must have positive attitude, willingness to learn, possess integrity, be dependable, and have strong communication and organizational skills. 

Delivery route experience preferred.

Must be at least 21 years old, have less than 3 moving violations in the last 2 years and no driving-related convictions in the last 5 years. Will adhere to FMCSA regulation 49 CFR 391.11(b)(2): "Can read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquires, and to make entries on reports and records." All requirements contained in 49 CFR 391.11 not specifically stated above.

Must have basic math and communication skills & ability to operate basic computer including tablet(s) and/or smartphones.

A pre-employment verification is required including a Background Check, Motor Vehicle Report, and Screening for Substance Abuse.

Required Qualifications:

· Valid Class A CDL

· Clean driving record

· Hazmat endorsement and medical card

· High School Diploma or Equivalent

· Successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug screen and physical

· Exhibit regular and consistent attendance in a timely manner at the place of work

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· Prior Forklift experience 

· Ability to lift 100 pounds from ground level repeatedly and work with it overhead

· Ability to climb ladders and work at heights

· Ability to walk moderate to long distances and work in all weather conditions

· Motivated, self-starter who can work independently, yet function and participate as part of a team

Service Technicians

  •  

Seeking Dairy Service Technicians with a background in Electrical and/or HVAC. 

Responsibilities

  • Repair, install, and service dairy equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance as needed.
  • Call on local customers for maintenance, service, and/or repair.
  • Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment.
  • Provide programming, electrical, and/or HVAC support.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on dairy equipment.
  • Complete work orders including paperwork, invoicing, and manage truck inventory.
  • Be willing to take 24hr calls on a rotation schedule.

Qualifications

  • Electrical, HVAC, and/or PLC background preferred.
  • Must have valid driver's license with a clean driving record, pass background and drug test.
  • Must have a positive attitude, be punctual, and eager to learn.
  • Must be passionate about meeting deadlines and objectives, willing to work hard and/or go the extra mile, work as a team, and strive to get the job done right.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment.
  • Ability to handle physical workload.

Experience:

3+ years of applicable experience in Electrical, HVAC, and/or PLC software and hardware troubleshooting and/or programming. Experience in the dairy industry preferred. 

All wages are dependent upon skills and experience.
